Maskelyne’s Mysteries as a Brand

In 1935 Davenports bought the rights to use the name Maskelyne’s Mysteries. Philip’s article explains how this came about. His article also covers the ways in which Davenports used Maskelyne’s Mysteries as a name to promote their products. It became a well-known brand name for Davenports, sitting alongside the company’s earlier use of the Demon Series of magic.
