Lapel badge of the John Salisse Luncheon Club

John Salisse CBE (1926-2006) was a magic historian and avid collector of ephemera and in particular was an internationally known expert on the Maskelynes. He founded the Luncheon Club in 2002 with a group of magic historians. The badge represents John’s vent doll “Francis” which he used for many years in his act. It is presented to members of the club and to guests as a momento of their visit.
