The Great Carmo Bead Mystery

An advertisement illustrated here descibes the effect: “A string of beads is removed from a girl’s neck and the clip is cut off the end. The beads fall into an unprepared tumbler and the cord on which they are threaded remains empty in the magician’s hand. This is coiled up and placed in the mouth and the beads are poured from the glass into the mouth and are at once pulled out completely re-strung.” Complete with instructions.
