This trick by Syd Laurie was designed for amateur magicians and sold by Davenports under the name Probus. The trick is well made in cardboard but would not wear well if in constant use by a professional. The cost was two shillings. The three of diamonds was supplied with the trick and may be examined. As it is being placed inside the frame, a match is borrowed. The match can then be pushed right through the blue star trap and out the other side. The three of diamonds is then removed and shown to be undamaged. Complete with instructions.
