Film of the second British Ring convention held in 1932 in Cheltenham

The British Ring of the International Brotherhood of Magicians held their second magic convention in Cheltenham in 1932. This film from the Davenport Collection was taken by Mahmoud Films rather than the Davenport family. We do not know the person behind Mahmoud films. The film is interesting and helpful because the names of many of the people filmed are given in captions. Good light was needed for filming, which explains why all the shots are out of doors. Many well-known magicians were captured on this film.
