Amasis postcard sent to Will Goldston

The message on the postcard is ‘The Compliments of the Season A.W.H.’. Will Goldston, to whom the postcard was addressed at Gamages, left the department store in early 1914. The date of 24 December visible on the postmark must therefore be 1913 or earlier. The postcard is from Arthur William Hortopp, who for a time performed an Egyptian themed act as Amasis.
