A solid ball and metal tube are examined by the audience. When the magician places the ball on top of the tube, on command the audience see the ball sink right down into the tube. On another command the ball rises back up to the top. When a member of the audience tries to repeat this, they find that the diameter of the ball is too great for the ball to even fit in the tube.
