This programme, although undated, can be dated as 1941 because this is consistent with 28 July being a Monday, and because the next week was Tod Slaughter in ‘The Devil’s Sanctuary’. It is known that this play was touring in 1941. Harry Hemsley was billed as ‘Famous Child Impersonator’. By this time he was well known based on his theatre work and work with BBC radio.
