This two sided card admits the bearer to the exhibition on either Saturday 18 August or Saturday 15 September. The ink date of 1837 cannot be correct because these dates do not fall on a Saturday. Possible dates are 1827, 1832, 1838 and 1849. It seems likely therefore that the date should be 1838.
