Okito’s Penetration of Matter

Okito was well known for making superb apparatus decorated to a very high standard. Inevitably this resulted in high prices, out of reach for many performers. This item allows the magician to pass solid objects through the star trap, which means they are also magically penetrating the centre of a taut piece of red material. The high quality boxes in which this trick was supplied were purpose built for the job. They are shown in one of the illustrations here.
