Italian magician Chefalo’s act on film in 1939

In 1939 Chefalo gave the Davenport family permission to film his act at the Chiswick Empire in London. I doubt whether the theatre management was told about it. Marco Pusterla, a world authority on Chefalo, has worked with us to include this 1939 footage in a ten minute film. We see Chefalo in action, hear about some of the tricks he was performing and learn about his life. It’s an action packed ten minutes which brings Chefalo’s story to life. The film was produced by good friend Terry Hylton for the Davenport Film Collection.
