Danish trick à la Crazy Compass

This trick has on it MAGIC SHOP KØBENHAVN as well as EFTERTRYK FORBUDT, but the routine is not clear. In a typical Crazy Compass routine the performer holds the compass between thumb and fingers of one hand. As the compass is turned around, the arrow confusingly starts pointing in different directions. But how this relates to a young lady is not clear to the curator of the Davenport Collection website.
