A Perfumed Problem

This is apparently a demonstration of auto-suggestion. The performer persuades members of the audience that they can smell the perfume of their named chosen flower on a handkerchief. Full details may be read in the illustrated advertisement from the Demon Telegraph of April-May-June 1938. Davenports announced that they have obtained exclusive rights for their customers from the inventor of the idea, Henri Plantet.
