A drinks mat with an image of Alice and the flying cards

This was a gift to attendees at the John Salisse Luncheon Club (a group of people interested in magic history) on 14 December 2015, held at The Savage Club in London. These drink mats were widely available at the time. This is an example of ‘pipitis’, the condition which leads to the purchase of items covered in emblems, such as cards, beloved of many magicians.
