Photographs of Alfred Stanley Cooke and his three children

A.S. Cooke, the son of G.A. Cooke of Maskelyne and Cooke fame, had three children. Their dates are shown in the family tree illustrated here. These photographs were found together with other items relating to this family, so it is virtually certain that they show A.S. Cooke with his three young children, as well as with his grown daughters. The son, Gordon Norman Cooke, died when he was 8 years old (search for N3729). This explains why there was no photograph of A.S. Cooke with his grown up son. On the back of the photograph showing Cooke in plus fours with his daughter are the words ‘23.7.38 Brighton’.
